Business Proof #1

Wondering how to dress for business events?

Ever heard of the Big Four? If you haven’t, nevermind, I’ve got the information for you! 😉
The Big Four (KPMG, PwC, Deloitte & EY) are the four largest enterprises providing services for other businesses, mostly financial, legal, auditing and accounting services.

As I am a masters’ student in Finance, I’m really interested in getting to know these companies. Fortunately, the Big Four organize all kinds of recruiting events to get to know them & what they stand for.

Although I love getting ready for these kind of events, it always boils down to the same problem: what to wear? How to look business proof, while distinguishing yourself from the other candidates? Well, here’s the answer!

Especially for you, I selected 3 looks – an informal, a business casual and a formal one – to show you how to ‘dress to impress’! My first look with be the informal one, which is perfect for a business reception for instance. The other two looks are still coming up!

When attending a business event, you want to stand out from the crowd, while retaining your ‘poker face’, right? 😉 You never have a second chance to make a first impression! So the best way to do this, is to play with colour, print and/or fabric, yet in a subtle way. For an informal event, you can wear jeans (preferably black or grey) combined with a chic shirt to add some classiness. And don’t forget the heels, it’s the final touch! Besides, this will make you look more confident. As you can see here, I’m wearing a colourful print: subtle but different from a regular outfit.
